Hi all,
Maybe if some use to you if, like me,
You have fallen foul of the well publicised "non abs snorkel won't fit a non abs Disco" and the fact that suppliers won't simply supply the link from the snorkel to the air box on its own.
(You do actually need the ABS snorkel on the later 300 TDI as the AIr flow meter sits right in the way )

Anyway, some bodgit and scarper engineering, whilst not necessarily pleasing the purists, has resulted in an almost factory look

The eagle eyed among you will have noticed that the standard 300tdi airbox is now mounted back to front, and the lid is also on backwards, giving the inlet and outlet back out the same end.

The flexi hose is an 80mm air hose from ram air filters (a tenner on Eblag)
And the link to the airflow meter is another tenner of 75mm radiator hose.

The links to the airbox are cut up parts of the original inlet and outlets.

All connections are now sealed in place with black PU sealant and secured with jubilee clips, and the airbox lid is screwed on to ensure effective seal.

Unfortunately my phone was dead so no pics yet of it finished.
