disco 2 v8 auto radiator blew,wont start

hi any body help.
had a major desaster rad blew lost water , but managed to get home.
oil is not emuisified but may of over heated the auto box.
now the car wont start, when its turned over it wants to start but wont have it.
could the head gasket of blown but like i said oil is ok and engine not siezed.
cannot figure out why it wont fire although its trying to.
any body got any idea,s what the problem is.

it could be that it has lost its compression due to a failed head gasket.
