Disco 2 td5 front bumper

Hi I have a td5 that needs a new front bumper for its MOT. I'm having trouble finding one so I was wondering if a range rover one could be modified to fit

What year is your Discovery? I have one for sale from a 2002 facelift Disco 2.

lots of after market ones out there, and they are made of steel not plastic

Hi my mine is a w reg 2000. How much is your bumper please and where are you ?

I'm in Worcestershire and was looking for £175, but I don't think one from a facelift will fit the earlier non-facelift car.

Am wondering why you need a front bumper "for the MOT".
Unless it is to do with the headlamp wash and I am not even sure if that is part of the test.
Unless there are sharp edges which a bumper would cover I don't think you need one.
Others please put me right if you know cos I CBA to check at the mo. (In the middle of cooking dinner!)

Duck tape over the rough bits.

AFAIK both front bumpers are among the very few NLA bits

+1 I know this would pass as I have helped a friend by doing just this.

me to I had colour coded duct tape on my black and silver front bumper for years , just renewed it before every MOT,
