on my disco 2 its like the arch trim has got roughened either by the sun or by some sort of chemical.

are new trims avalible?

Same on ours, we are going to try some back bumper paint first, but new trims are available as individual pieces. The larger one at the back is about £30 plus VAT.

Mine are exactly the same. Until I feel like shelling out for a new set I've been using Autoglym Bumper Care gel. Doesn't make it completely black but it seems to "moisturise" the plastic if you know what I mean. Best applied with an old toothbrush (i know, i know:eek:) to avoid having to de-fluff the bloody things after it's done. Also good on the rest of the plastic, makes water bead off just like on waxed paintwork.
Don't know why they've gone like this but it does my head in!
