Hello hope some one can help, Ive just bought a Disco 2, 7 seater. I have noticed that the air suspension has been removed and coil springs with air assist fitted in replacement (think its Airlift 1000). Also the ACE has been turned off and drained.
My main concern is the legal drivability of the car. I have spoken to land rover sealers x2 and there customer care centre who can't see any issues with putting coils on a 7 seater or swapping the ACE for standard ARB. They also said it is optional to have them fitted. But some of the forums point out that it is illegal.
Any advice as I need to get the car road worthy. Should I remove the two rear seats. To put the car back to standard would cost a lot of money. Any one converted a 7 seater with standard ARB's
