i've just got a pair of 90 swivels/disc brakes, etc and was
contemplating transfering this over to my series?

i haven't had a proper look at it yet, and was wondering if anybody
else has tried/done this before???

thanks

As suggested, have a look around - it can be done, but it is probably a lot
easier and cheaper to fix/upgrade the drum brakes - even though you have
the bits for the discs. Assuming you have an 88 the brakes can be upgraded
to 109 six cylinder standard with booster, and when these are in good
condition they are very good on an 88 (or even on a 109). For that matter
the standard 88 brakes are not too bad when in reasonable condition unless
you live in the mountains and do a lot of towing.
