I have a 1980 f reg defender 90 which people have modified over the years I.e a 300 tdi engine in etc.
The dip beams do not work now all of a sudden. The main beams do but only if the switch is on, which indicates to me the relay is broken? Am I correct?
I removed the front dash and found two relays. I removed one which I think it is, as when I removed and then tried the main beams again they didn't work and then put it back in and it did. I assume this relay does the dip beams too?
The issue I have is that it has no serial number on. It has 5 pins and has a gold case around, not pink, yellow or other colour that I am reading about.
Any body shed some light on this relay and if I am correct.
