Hi All

I have a 2005 3.0 Range Rover SE. Love it, much better looking than my P38 and I haven't broken down in two weeks so that a massive change.

From reading other posts I had a feeling my blower heater FSR had gone.

Replaced it with one from a 2004 model (pre facelift) I assumed it would just work ?

Sadly not, I've got it dangling down in the footwell at the moment, does it need to be mounted back ?

The other suggestion was that it might be the blower motor itself. I have one but it seems I have to take the whole car apart to fit, is there an easier way ?

Thankyou in advance

Fsr is the same for both models but the new improved item has more and shorter metal prongs on it.
You mite have fitted a duff one so best start with a new fsr if that fails to fix it then the blower motor is possible but dont rule out you hevac panel.
Have you tested for +12volts at the fsr plug ?

Right thanks for the suggestion, sorry for being thick but how would I test that ?. I have a meter and know roughly, just not what to test. My next step is the Hevac panel in the dashboard.I have one of those too.

Is there a fuse for the blower or any relays ?
