Good evening guys and Girls. My name is Carl and I wonder if someone could shed some light. Turning mostly right my steering wheel wobbles. Straight line fine,, nothing. Left very occasionally.
I have just had an MOT very thorough by Land Rover specialist...nothing.
Steering damper fine. Wheel bearings fine. Track rods fine. Steering drop link very tight. Wheels fully balanced.
Am I looking at a new pump or steering box or something else?
Any advice gratefully received...Thank you people.

Other things to consider: tracking, damaged tyre, panhard rod bushes, swivel pin bearing pre-load.

panhard rod bushes, swivel pin bearing pre-load.

These ^^ and wear/damage to the top swivel pin bearing/railko bush (depending on age) can cause some very odd steering symptoms. If the basics have been checked these would be next on my list. Might also be worth checking the radius arm bushes as these wear they can allow the axle to wander in odd directions.

Most has been said, but I'd also check the steering column UJ's. I had the one next to the steering box come loose ... They usually stiffen up!
