Defender TD5 loss of power and TD5

Hi all,
Hoping someone would kindly offer some of their landy wisdom or link a useful thread they know of

I have noticed a slight loss in power and also a few misfires on harder acceleration. The landy has been remapped.
Earlier in the year, I changed the injector harness and also did the seals and washers. I didn't have this issue back then. If I remember rightly, I didn't use a genuine harness but it was a "quality" aftermarket part. Do you think I should be checking here and also the red plug into ECU?

Nice one, I’ll try that tomorrow. Do you unplug the MAF then take for a drive to test?

Simple as that, if it's better then your maf is duff

Morning Craig,

I have tested with the MAF unplugged and no misfires. Am I okay to drive it without this unplugged until fixed?

I would and I wouldn't think twice about it....

But other folks may not and the suggestion of doing it is mearly for fault finding purposes.....

The ECU will default to a setting that will be ok to drive.
