Saw this at a local event, guy in the Landy was on the PA desk.

lnteresting modification, not seen it done before.

For a very specific purpose useful. But for most a bit of a waste of time being open. But I guess it is no different to the camper pop tops people make other than not being enclosed.

Their versions all seem to hinge at one side though. It might be difficult using a roof rack once you've done that, even with the top closed.

It is quite a common mod done for agricultural auctioneers as a mobile podium and to keep some of the weather off at farm sales.
