Hi ive tried to search without any joy , simple question (i hope) How much weight can i put in the back of a swb defender 90 , i had 12 2x2 slabs in guestimate 1/2 ton , and that felt as though that was enough , am i about right at that thanks gerry

Off the top of my head a 90 hard top can take around 700kg depending on engine etc, and a 110 can take around 1150kg.

lovely thanks for that , 700kg i have a 90 hard top 200tdi fitted , So i was ok , 907kg = ton , I did most trips with 10 slabs 1000lbs 1/2ton -450kg , if my maths is ok lol , I will keep at that 1/2ton but handy to know though upto 700kg pretty good that plenty for me .
