Defender Heater

I'm looking to replace the heater fan motor in my 300TDI heater matrix which is broken. Following a quick search there appears to be a load of fan motors for the 200TDI at around £70, however the cheapest for 300TDI appear to start at £130ish.

What's the reason for this enormous difference in price? They both look very and perform very similar. Can I fit a 200TDI motor to my 300TDI heater matrix.?!

If anyone has a good working used 300TDI/TD5 matrix please PM me with details.

Can anyone offer any advice as I need to plunge in and buy one. If I have to get a 300TDI so be it, but ideally if I can save £50/70 that will pay for my new seat covers.
