Defender front panel

Hi folks,
looking for a bit of advice... I've been looking to upgrade the grille on my Defender. So I've been looking at a few photos on the web. I've noticed that some defenders have a front panel that protrudes futher than the wings. Is this a different front panel or is the original moved forward some how?

For the Td5, aircon was introduced as an option. In order to fit the condenser in, air con models have a protruding front panel. I think this became the norm for any model, either late Td5 or with the Puma models.

Just another question, would freelander wheels(15x5.5 wheel size, stud pattern 5x114) fit my 110 defender?

Not all post 2007 have the aircon panel

No, wrong PCD and centre bore. Plus FL wheels would not be rated for the weight of a 110. So even if they fit it would not be a good idea.
