defender doors

Hey guys! im in the process of repairing my front doors on the 90.
Ive done all the welding and am now starting to put PU sealent on all the joints/gaps internally. Is there supposed to be some kind of filler strip/tape on the middle support going across the door? the door skin is sitting about 1 cm away which looks like it will vibrate if some thing isnt placed between the door skin and support if that makes sence!

I just had this vibration on my 110.

There was a thin strip of felt which had fallen down inside the door. I replaced it using silicone sealant to keep it in place.

Without it the door skin also rattles on the support when you slam the door. If the gap is 1cm on yours you could try a couple of strips of self adhesive draught excluder (use the heavy duty black stuff not the thin brown type)
