I really hope that someone can help. These new landy's are the pleasure and the bane of my life. My fuel pump, I think, has given up and a few of the guys around were saying that I should put an inline pump in for ease of use and changing, and it would also be cheaper (The price of a new pump in SA is about 5000,00 rand).
As you know you have to drop the fuel tank to get to the 90's pump.
Great! In line sounded good, have you felt the weight of a full tank, and away I went.
The local "fundi's" stated that the new pump will just sit inline to the engine and should pump straight thru the old pump and filter.
GREAT!!
No cigar!!. bl**** thing won't pump.
I have now cut out a great piece of hose and have a pump sitting there that is pumping little squirts, althou if you put the end in a jerrycan she pumps fine, and the Landy starts.
Any advise would be appreciatted.:(
