Defender 90 big brakes

Hi, I have a defender 90 TD5. It has been retuned by TD5 inside (Jose) it hasn’t had the turbo changed yet as I’m waiting for Jose to return to the UK. however it now goes like stink but doesn’t stop too well. It has disk brakes all round.
I want to update the brakes to something a bit more powerful. I was thinking 6 piston. However the sets I have seen are in the 3k+ price range and that’s too rich for me. I’m pretty sure that I was told that you can fit Range Rover brakes to a defender. Does anyone have any experience of this or any other suggestions to improve the braking performance?

The EBC range of performance pads are pretty good, Green then Yellow and hardcore red.

Fit 110 callipers or drive slower & predict things going wrong.

I fitted some big 110 CSW calipers from an early 90's landy to my 90, could stand it on its nose

I think later models and Range Rover and Disco's all used the smaller calipers
