Well my gear stick has been shaking like a puppies arse for over a month so I decided that today's job was the gear box mounts. I tend to buy lots of bits then work my way through them!
Anyway, it's a nice simple job.
I used Britpart "G" parts i.e. GENUINE Landrover mounts bought from Brit-Car that came in Britpart blue bags.
1 x ANR3201G, GEARBOX MTG @ £4.76+vat
1 x ANR3200G, GEARBOX MTG @ £5.37+vat
Postage was part of a large order.
Car up on ramps or axle stands.
Jack up to the bottom of the gearbox and then up a couple of cm to take the strain.
This has made such a difference. When I took the off side mount from the bracket it was split in two so the transfer box wasn't actually connected to the body properly. It's now so much smoother and no gear stick vibrations.

- On the off side undo the nuts which connect the actual mount to the bracket and mount to the body.
- Undo the 4 19mm bolts which hold the mount bracket to the transfer box.
- Remove the mount bracket and mount.
- Refitting is a reverse of the removal.
- On the near side undo the nut which connects the mount to the body.

- Remove the mount bracket with mount attached
- Remove the mount from the mount bracket off the car
- Fit the new mount to the mount bracket.
