DEFENDER 130 TUB

Hi folks, here's a question for you all then.

Does anyone know the purpose of the 6" rectangular holes covered over with a pop riveted plate, on the front of a 130 HCPU tub?
It's interesting as they aren't present on a 110 HCPU tub.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

No idea.. not on my 110 either. If they are riveted on why not remove 1to find out

Are there any on the front panel ?

Hi Phil.
If you look a the front of the tub from the outside, it just looks like Land Rover cut a rectangular hole on the front bulkhead and then pop-riveted a patch on the inside.
