As some of you may be aware I am rebuilding my 110 after a "small" fire (link). I am at the point where I am looking at ordering a (very expensive) wiring loom and am trying to work out what I had before to replace like for like. Although the 110 is an '89 model I fitted (what was sold to me as) a complete 300tid bulkhead about 10 years ago when the original was too rusty for repair. This means I have all of the later model spade connector switches rather than the rubber bullets and light etc all flow through relays rather than the switch. I am looking to get another 300tdi wiring loom to replace it. The dash panel I had looked like the below (pic form google):

EDIT: poor quality pic actually showing mine:

This does not seem to be a very common layout for the warning lights (black panel and separate indicators) and I am hoping someone might be able to use this to identify exactly which model of wiring loom I require as there are several different ones to choose from.

Looks like a 300 dash set up to me. My 1990 model still has the panel where the heater plug symbol is still the old petrol choke symbol like what your 89 would have had originally.

It is a 300tdi dash set up, but they are not all the same. the complete replacement bulkhead I got as the basis of the rebuild was also a 300tdi but it had a warning light panel looking like this with the most notable difference being the single indicator warning light:

The one in the pic above is just like my truck's [ was 19j but now 200 ] except that the symbol for the heater plugs has been changed to the proper coil icon.

Well I finally got a reply form autosparks regarding which loom I will need. Seems the age has less to do with things compared to the accessories fitted. So because I do not have an alarm or immobilizer but do have a dim dip circuit there are three loom that are suitable for a 300tdi:

LR604

  • Has seatbelt switch warning light.
  • Has rear heated screen relay in dash position.
  • Has original 300TDI Radio/Cassette connector.
  • Has oil transmission temperature unit/warning light circuit.
  • At the relay/fuse board, has relays for starter, headlamp, wiper delay and hazards.
  • Provisional connector for A/C. (At the relay/fuse board position)

LR606

  • Has NO seatbelt switch warning light.
  • Has rear heated screen relay amongst the fuse/relay board, NOT at the dash position.
  • NO original 300TDI Radio/Cassette connector.
  • Has NO oil transmission temperature unit/warning light circuit.
  • At the relay/fuse board, has relays for starter, headlamp, wiper delay, hazards and heated rear screen as noted above.
  • NO provisional connector for A/C.

LR607

  • Has NO seatbelt switch warning light.
  • Has provisional connector for rear heated screen relay at the dash position.
  • NO original 300TDI Radio/Cassette connector.
  • Has NO oil transmission temperature unit/warning light circuit.
  • At the relay/fuse board, has relays for starter, headlamp, wiper delay, hazards.
  • NO provisional connector for A/C.

From these three option I am leaning towards the LR604. Does any one have any reason why that loom would not be the best option here?
