Update next morning: Found the first answer by reading the manual- Dimmer duhh! Other questions still remains. (Nice clean fuses now though)
Before dismantling too much wonder if anyone could help 95 P38.
Whilst driving with lights on, the dashboard/dials background light suddenly disappeared also the clock light gone so thought it was the fuse but thats good, actually checked & cleaned all fuses to be sure but to no avail. The Alarm/warning & gear indicator lights works.
How do you get the unit with the dials out? Are those loud buzzers located there?
The light in the heater unit was weak but gone now as well? The fan speed button stuck but automatic works, just the beginning of little problems the engine and major bits seams okay, just changed oil, ATF, plugs/leads cleaned MAF, blue wire off RF, new battery and it runs really smooth and the remote works, ventilation filter is a real bugger to change and so is the gearbox filter but well worth it.
Under gearbox ecu there's a space, what's fore? Think ecu needs changing as sport and normal mode are reversed but works if you know how.
Gave the petrol a large shot of octane booster/cleaning stuff and it's really perky, wouldn't believe it has done the 110K m it has. (Changing the filter soon)
