Dam rusty Discovery

2 Years ago my mum pestered me to get her a discovery. So i brought her one as a non runner with all the welding already done and fitted a recon engine and that was that.
I was away at university since and got back about three days ago after finished my 4 year degree.

The day after i get back i have to move it to make some space on the drive and find the front sunroof is leaking. Supposedly it had been leaking for the past month (even though it was previously sealed with silicone).

I find that the sound deadening under the carpets is soaking so today I took out the front seats carpet and sound deadening.

I found 4 holes on the passenger front floor. One massive hole on the side of the transmission tunnel. Two holes on the drivers floor. Both sides the rear inner arches and seat belt mounts are rotten. Ive spent all day today and will have to spend all day tomorrow welding it all and stone chipping it all.

Are discoverys made of some kind of reconstituted metal or something as they rust like japcrap. Ive never seen so much rot after two years??

And i just realised i put it in the series section woops . Oh well im a series owner so ohwell.
