It was the compressor - Replacement fitted, no bongs/lights and checked gallery pressure and went up to 1758 or 80 can't remember which, and compressor went off and didnt come back on (well for several minutes running anyway). I cleared error codes and re-ran test and no errors reported on suspension. Tests and code stuff carried out using my new 930i that arrived today. Thanks to all that replied, especially gstuart for his keeping in touch and offers to help.
