D2 Water in the foot well

Hi

Spent a nice time yesterday taking the passenger seat out of my Disco yesterday. The plan was then to lift the carpet out and investigate the water ingress into the front foot well.
Is super glue used to install carpets in these vehicles? looks like I'm going to make a right mess of the carpet ripping it out.
Unless, anyone can advise a likely source of the water or an easy way of getting carpets out.....

If you have air conditioning, the drains under the car can become blocked ( the one that empties onto the xyz switch of autos) and then the water leaks into the front footwell either side of central console.

Thanks for the info.
Found the drains and both seemed fine, well they were, until I started poking long, sharp things into them to check they were clear.
Have had a look at the drains on top of the bulkhead and not overly confident with the integrity of the join in the pipes there. More work to be done in this area.
