crankshaft pulley vibration damper

hi. I have a 2003 Td4 Freelander ,it works excellent except this..., did anyone experienced problem with the crankshaft pulley vibration damper at 120.000 km? it makes terible noise.

If you mean the tensioner for the belt that drives the alternator and the water pump. what sort of noise ? rattle ? squeak ? vibration

previous to my recent problems..
i had a squeaky belt tensioner.. (96,000 Miles)
was jammed, eventually shredded the belt
and probably contributed to the water pump bearings failure i have just had fixed.

The tensioner on my TD4 is loose - making a right racket. What size spanner will fit it? So I can try to tighten up - hoping nothing more sinister wrong with it.
