So I recently changed my radiator due to the little bleed off pipe at the top having a tiny fracture I noticed at the same time one of my hoses was weeping but not in the usual way I mean it was weeping from the internal thread. The hose in question is the expansion to thermostat hose with the little kink going up to the heater matrix pipe.
Anyho replaced the pipe today and dissected the old hose
You can clearly see an internal split allowing coolant to flo along the internal hose thread where it was weeping at the end.
Job done then discover my heater o rings are leaking job for tomorrow
