Coolant pipes

Well im changing the heater matrix on my Disco 1 300Tdi as the previous owner just bypassed it but the troube is I have no idea how the coolant pipes should run or where they should come from

Ive got the matrix in along with the metal pipes that take the pipes through the bulkhead and thats it.

Has anyone got any pictures of the routing or any pipes for sale ?

If you have the black cover on your engine look under it and you will find a pipe coming out the top of the head near the bulkhead, there should also be a pipe coming along the top of the head (held on by two supports fastened to the manifold studs). These are the heater matrix pipes, the PO will probably have joined these when they disconnected the matrix.

Plumb them up to your heater - job done.

Got the matrix on the metal hoses today - got those clips are an arse to get right
