Coolant Airlocks Bleeding Proceedure

I have a Freelander V6 2.5 Petrol with Airlocks in the coolant The system does come up to temp and pressure. After a 3 mile run the expansion bottle is empty, but as I loosen the cap on the Expansion bottle, I get a hiss of air and the bottle refills from the inlet. Has anyone got an idiots guide to bleeding the system ? Jasper

take the top off the expansion chamber, fill with water, run the engine up with the top off and just keep topping it upas it goes down, give it half an hour and robert is yer mothers brother
