Hi guys
Right as you may know i'm currently restoring my 1970 S2a swb inc a disco 200tdi conversion from a petrol as well, the 2a is Negative earth and was fitted with a dynamo and the fitted disco tdi engine is fitted with a new B P alternator and I am in the middle of fitting a brand new late 2a std wiring loom from Autosparks and is made for an alternator but I need to know the best way to convert the 2a from dynamo to alternator please, I also have the H/D cable that links the alternator to the starter motor which will be fitted as well.

Remove all the dynamo and associated chargeing wires to a from the voltage reg. You just link the new output from the alternator to where the main output from the voltage reg went. Run a new new wire from the small terminal on the alterntor to the charge light (then to ign)
