Conversion Plate

Hi guys,
I'm posting a question for my dad and I hope you can help.

He has a landrover 2,25 diesel which he wants to replace with a transit engine, he's after a conversion plate for the gearbox, I've found him one on ebay but I'm not sure if it will work as the seller states it's for a range rover gearbox, would it work on his landie?

tell him to have a rethink, the transit engine is too underpowered for a landy. you end up changing gear all the time

Agreed don't waste your money on the engine
Had one in a landy and ripped it out as it was cr*p
