Well, radius anrms, steering, cambelt, amp-meter, radio and brakes are sorted.

Just the clutch. So, ive replaced the master (fine all fits), but ive put a new disco 1 slave cylinder in the disco gear box. Problem is, the pipe doesent seem to mate up with the cylinder, could they be different (but very close) threads? or have i just stripped the threads? :(

I suspect the guy who put the engine in may have put the 2.5td engines slave back into the discos box (is that possible), so he dident have to mess about with the pipe and conections.

Can i fit a 2.5td age defender slave cylinder in instead then? is the only difference the thread?

Thanks again, Richard.

i think the TD cyl shoud be a metric one..... i think....... my s3 cyl was a bitch to put the pipe into, make sure the pipe/union is dead strait in the threads i will have a dig about and see what i can find out
