Clutch Pedal Noise

Hi,

I have noticed recently that if i tap the clutch pedal very lightly, it makes a sort of rain drop hitting a bit of foil sort of rattle. Its only on the very top of the pedal in the slack before it goes hard. Cant hear this noise with the engine on, only when switched off.

Also i have noticed in the very bottom of the pedal it squeeks loudly.

Is this normal, am i being too sensitive about my clutch etc. Had master and slave changed with OE spec about 5 months ago. Car drives fine etc.

Only reason is that my master cylinder fail has been the only thing so far that has sent me home on a lorry...... I also have about a 1000 mile trip back to UK planned in the next couple of weeks, so just trying to make sure she is ok. No decent Landy guys where i am

try some WD40 on the pedal to stop the squeak i did that and it made a world of diff.

What do you spray. Is it inside the cab? etc

yea i usually lie on my back on the floor so i can see and spray the pivot points of the pedal while pressing it with my hand .. may need a few trys to get the right spot thats making the squeek ..
