Hi There.
I have a 2004 Freelander 1 and about 8 weeks ago my clutch pedal went to the floor, so I had the clutch master cylinder replaced with a new one .All went fine for about 3 weeks and then clutch went to the floor again. On the advice of the mechanic I had it replaced with a better quality Master cylinder that worked great for about 2 weeks, then clutch to the floor again. Can anyone suggest what might be causing the problem . Another mechanic I have spoken to has told me to replace the complete clutch.
Any Advice would be great,
Many Thanks.

Go to another mechanic!
It will only go to the floor if it is leaking so first find the leak then fix it. If you're lucky it's the master or the connection badly fitted, If not it's a new clutch kit.

hi freelander fenit. you didnt mention if you are losing fluid ? if you are it can only be where its leaking . if not leaking fluid its normally the master cylinder. although i have heard of the pedal box collapsing at bulkhead on a freelander
