Right so I've removed the self levelling suspension unit from my 110 but the clunk remains, does that mean that the s.l.s was not shot although it was leaking slightly. would it be worth reconditioning and refitting ?
Next I think I need to upgrade the rear coils since removing the s.l.s as I noticed it bottoming when driving over speed bumps, but I don't really want H.D's, I think that coils without self levelling are available but I can also get my hands on a pair of 110 TD5 rear coils for 20 quid each, but I'm not sure if they're suitable or any firmer than the existing ones.

All this still doesn't cure the clunking so I think I may have to replace the top axle bush/balljoint thingy any ideas ?

True , have already renewed some balljoints in an effort to eradicate tha problem but was saving this was one as a last resort after having heard it was a bitch to replace.

So does anyone know if I could use 110 TD5 rear springs as a replacement, I mean are they gonna be any firmer than the ones I've got on now without the s.l.s unit?
