P38A Cigarette Lighter Socket Removal

Hi,

I want to wire an additional 12v socket and usb and it makes sense to take it from same feed as the current Cigarette lighter socket as they are going to be close to each other and of course it will already be fused (I won't be using the standard fitted lighter socket).

How easy it is to remove it and get to the back of the ashtray etc?

I have installed USB sockets that include a DVM in the ash tray of both my P38's next to the cig lighter using the cig lighter supply. If you want details, PM me with an Email address, LZ doesn't let me upload some stuff.

Dead easy on the manual once you get the bottom up out of the cubby hole.

I can just here tomcatalan now. Bottom up out of an hole, get it plenty greased or filled even
