Do you wanna sell the doors complete if they are ok as both mine are now shot to hell

This time you have me at a loss. What am i trying to fool anyone with? No confrontation meant here, i'm being honest i am just asking to learn. I have to take this thing apart and make something like a reasonable job of putting it back together again. It was just a question, that's all.

I think Mr Pink got off pretty lightly posting a question aboot his chrome balls in the first place.

If yer after some REME yer prob' better off asking fer Swiv's, not chrome balls especially if yer standing in an electroplaters workshop at the time.

Paddocs & Craddocs both do them; either original chrome, or as some-one has mentioned 'black teflon' coated versions. They are around £50 a side, and will ship mail order; difference twixt the two is pennies, and I doubt you will find cheaper, and both are usually bearmach or britpart brands, which is likely what you would get from a franchise main stealer for 50% more wanga!
teflon balls seem to be about £10 more expensive; and from reports they are a bit 'lighter' on the steering, and less inclined to pit. But I dont know any-one who has had them on a landy long enough or worked hard enough to give realistic long term comparison; crome ones last fifteen to twenty years or more, so.......... your call.

Thanks Teflon.

I really only asked to learn what and how, so now i've found the relevant section in the manual, i'm learning a lot.

Thanks
