Hi there, looking for any ideas concerning brake mods, to a 1968 series 2/2a 88 with the SLS brake system. they are well set up but i need to use a trailer and require a bit more stopping power, without the ultra exspensive disc conversion, is there a servo/ uprated master cylinder, available as a retro fit,

Some series 3's had servos and will fit the 2/2a,you need to remove the existing brake pedal box and fit the servo one in its place. You may need to trim the hole in the footwell where the pedal goes through as on the s3 one the pedal sits up a bit more, also the wing will need trimming so the servo fits in. Then fit the vacuum pipe to the inlet manifold (if its petrol) and fit the brakepipes. If your master cylinder that's on now only has one pipe coming from it you will need to redo all the brake pipes so its a twin system.
