the rear bulkhead is part of the tub isn't it? i already have a truck cab(hard top fitted at the moment

that's right, you have to chop about 8" off the tub and form a plate that goes under the base of the cab to fill the gap

one of the mags did an article not so long back showing a really nice red one that a pair of twin brothers had done along with the engine out of a P6 - and just a inch thick sheet load bed at the rear

am very tempted to that exactly that but with a SD1 engine

wan't that a series 2a on 9.00r16s? made into a trayback? they had loads of series 2s

ah i think your right about it being a 2a - isnt a trayback what your after ?

i just remember them being twins and thinking i bet they never get laid

hahahaha it was basicly so i could sort out the rear of me chassis while still using it (she's a 109 so it would be one hell of a trayback :))

dont think plod or vosa would be happy with that - might end up with kids and small animals being trapped around yer drive shafts

i like yer plan thou

why not? lorries run like it and so do transit vans, as long as i have a set of mud guards i cant see the problem its all exposed from below normally anyway

hmmm you might be right - certainly make cleaning the chassis rails a lot easier
