Changing automatic to manual

Hello all.Just wondering if anyone could help,ive done a search and found nothing so here goes.I'm thinking of buying a 1995 disco 300 tdi auto but i would like to change it to manual.I would like to know if it is possible to do this.I know the pedal box etc would need to be changed but just need to know if the box is interchangeable against the block etc. Cheers

i should just get a manual disco to start with bud , theres loads of cheep discos about
unless this disco is very good and cheep its not realy worth doing

having had a manual 300 tdi and a bmw 6cyl turbo diesel manual in my disco iv now gone to a 200 tdi auto !!!
whats the plans for the disco ? the auto box is so much beter off road / towing and everyday driving

now iv gone to auto im never goin back to a manual in my truck
