After the circuit board on the power amp blew it managed to melt the negative to my central locking reciever which was mounted on the same plate in the back passenger side of the boot ,Ive repaired the amp but when ive replaced the wiring to the locking reciever I found that the wiring had been jointed over in the drivers side near the rear fuse box ,after looking in the service manual I have it doesn't show where this unit should be it also has a 6v battery(burglar alarm type) attatched to it and the manual doesn't even show this , its all working now ok and its back in the passenger side I was just wondering where it should be and what the 6v battery is for, thanks.

Sounds like it has had a tracker or some such device fitted, battery is usually 12 volts though. Not seen any sign of a battery on my mates L322 when I did the amp on his.
