This day last week my skoda felicia pick-up sat down on me after eight faithful years.
Having rejected every other utility vehicle ( I need one for Wicklow)because my dear wife and business partner couldnt see over the bonnet, I suggested we look at a defender expecting a similar

A smile crossed her face as she sat into it and we expect to take possession on Monday.
there is a certain irony to my tale because 10 years ago I reached the pinnace of my career with two ambitions left. To own a Merc and a Defender. Finances however dictated the merc and and felicia pick-up.
It is with a certain that I realise the second part of that ambition.
