buying advice?

hi guys, im looking to buy a discovery at the moment and one has just popped up locally. 5 door 1994 es 190,000 miles asking price £1400 at local 4x4 garage. from outside it looks to be in pretty good condition,will have a look at it properly in the next few days and check out how rusty it is etc, but was just wondering is this an ok price for such vheicle?
any help will be greatly appreciated!

Sounds a bit high to me ! I,d look around, private rather than trade, in that price range. You wont get any worthwhile warantee anyway. Disco's are realy low at the moment. Check out Ebay and see what they go for. You should get a lower milage than that for that price.

Half the price and it would be a reasonable price. Make sure that whichever Disco you get, That you fold the seats forwards and take the carpet up in the back and check the floorpan all the way back to the seatbelt mountings.

Do a search for all the other rust spots. because there are quite a few of them.
