Bulkhead Preservation

Did i read somewhere about drilling holes in the bulkhead to drain water and injecting waxoyl??????

Dunno but I've drilled three holes in mine under the bonnet drip channel thing. I reckon the best way to preserve it if it's already on is to lower the windscreen and seal the seam on the top of the bulkhead, either waxoil or wax and polish the top an make sure the seal is in good nick or replace it. then make sure water can't get into the bulkhead behind the screen mountings by making a better gasket and sealing the joint between the mount and the bulkhead. The same goes for the door hinge gaskets.
