Britpart ****e

I replaced the gearbox gaiter about 6 months ago with a Britpart one as it had a small split on one side. Even though it was split, it was still airtight.

The replacement Britpart one has completely disintegrated on one side of the diff lock lever. Only noticed today because I was working on the passenger side. The rubber around the diff lock lever was no thicker than a plastic glove. absolute crap!

As a rule I don't buy Britpart but I did on this occasion as I thought it was only a bit of rubber. Just goes to show what utter crap they make.

Also, I've never moved the diff lock lever in that time, it's always been off and it's still bloody disintegrated!

My Defender also has allergic reaction to all Britpart parts and rejects them quickly.
