Hello all I am new here and trying to help a friend out, he is on restoring /rebuilding a series 3 landrover onto a defender chassis and is using a defender bulk head he has a problem with the valve that is pictured below and where each pipe subsequently goes to. can anyone out there help please.

All he knows is it was only fitted (apparently) for 2 years, this is what he sent me...

Hi Ian,

I think the brake bias valve is a NCT 8836 and only fitted 1993/94.

Thanks in advance for any help it will be much appreciated.

Is there an electrical switch with a wire coming out of it on the underneath? I can't see on the photo. If there is then it's a differential brake pressure warning switch, B in, D out for the front brake circuit, A in, C out for the rear.

Thanks Oxides

sorry for taking so long to reply apparently there is no electrical output will the pipe configeration be the same?

Thanks Ian
