brake problem on series 3 88

Hmm ! i know i am going to sound stupid but brakes are not my thing :doh:here goes,how do the springs fit on the rear brakes ( 10 inch ) as i have had a look and they are both different one side goes on the brake shoes the other side goes behind the shoes can anyone help...please.

Have you got one braking corner that is still intact? If so use that as a reference.

Hi,the brakes are the same and i have got the springs on by guessing.has not been bled yet so i hope that is the problem Does any body come from basingstoke who could come and have a look and chat ? Also the engine is a land rover diesel but it has come out of a taxi,would anyone know about this kind of thing ?
