Brake Light out and HDC and TC lights on. Help!!!

Hi. I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone could help me with some technical problems. As you can see in the title the brake light's not working and the HDC and TC warnings are lit. I've tried changing the brake light switch for a new one and checked all relevant fuses and bulbs and I'm now officially baffled! Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Suppose I'd better mention it's a 2002 Freelander TD4.
