I have just failed the MOT with a binding O/S front brake. I have just rebuilt the vehicle and I have replaced the Hoses, cylinders, shoes and adjusters. The vehicle has a twin leading shoe setup and both sides have had the same things replaced but only one side is binding.
I dont really know where to start as I am not sure why only one side would be binding. I wondered if I might have put something together wrong but I dont have an exploded diagram to go off as there is not one in the Haynes manual for twin leading shoe, or in my series 2/2a parts catalogue. I assume this also means that the brakes are from a later vehicle (its a 1964 2a 109 2 1/4 petrol)
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
