Boost Control and FCD for LR engines talk

Anybody out there who can slice in some info about Boost Control and Fuel Cut Defenders?

I'm sure that most of us think that LRs are not a performance car (truck), but I'm always interested to push a vehicle to its limits and without damaging it.

So what do you think about these two turbo upgrade gadgets? How do these work exactly - in easy words (googled a lot about these but still cannot have a clear picture). Anybody uses them on their LRs? Are they safe to use? What about fuel consumption? Pros and Cons?

Anybody interested in performance? Other suggestions to do so I would be happy to hear about. I'm new into this, I'm still learning my way through. Sorry for the nooby questions!
