If it is security you want they do not look very secure. It appears that you can remove the hinge pin easily.

Yes, think I misled myself by thinking the hinge pins are fastened with mushroom heads as per the piccy in the item gallery. Closer inspection leads me to think a pair of pliers is all thats needed to remove the hinges.
